Hi! I’m Melody Joy and I’m a photographer living in Edinburgh, Scotland. Although, I love to travel all over the UK and world, as I’m originally from the states and truly enjoy exploring!
Traveling to new places and capturing couples’ experiences together is what endlessly inspires me. So whether I’m traveling to a village or a city for your wedding, it’s the subtle interactions that stand out to me, the quiet moments of just the two of you glancing at each other during an elopement to the dance parties that go late into the next morning, it’s all so beautiful to me.
When I’m not editing sweet moments… during the day, I really enjoy strolling around the city with my husband, doing the daily crossword, admiring the architecture and finding the best pour over coffee and bacon rolls, with a film camera or iphone in hand, to journal my days in photographs. In the evenings, you can find me watching reality tv, doing a puzzle (jigsaw or sudoku) or playing xbox with my husband.
