Katie Lees is a contemporary jewellery designer / maker currently based in her studio here in Glasgow.

Her work is largely based on the study of industrial, engineered and structural landscapes found in her hometown of Glasgow.  The language is drawn not only from the beauty of the pragmatic forms and robust engineering, but also from the remnants of the shipbuilding industry that once defined the industrial aesthetic of the river and her city.
Bold, elegant and tactile, these mini sculptures for the body capture the essence of these evocative forms.

Katie specializes in traditional techniques, using silver, gold vermeil and stones to create cutting edge shapes both appealing to a collector and the fashion market.
Each piece is hand finished, plated and hallmarked in Scotland.
