Opening in 2012 by Dale Mailley and with a focus on seasonality, the Gardener’s Cottage has become synonymous with relaxed, modern dining in a rustic, communal setting. In 2018 we took our Gardener’s Cottage ethos to the Lookout on Carlton Hill, an exciting partnership with the contemporary Arts organisation, Collective.
We are committed to sourcing from local farmers, producers & foragers and making the most of the restaurant’s surrounding garden by growing our own fruit, vegetables and herbs.
Our wholesome, seasonal and fresh menus are perfect for indoor or outdoor gatherings and are built with the changing seasons in mind.
