I’m Caitlin, and Brahmin Lettering Co. is my modern calligraphy and design studio based just outside Glasgow. I work with couples to design bespoke wedding stationery, wedding backdrops and just about anything else that can be handwritten.
Working from your unique inspiration for the day including your venue, flowers, colours, textures and general mood, I work up designs to create wedding invitations and stationery bespoke for you. I also love handwritten details and can help add beautiful finishing touches to your day in the form of envelope addressing, calligraphy place settings, menus and table names.
If you are craving a relaxed, romantic alternative for your wedding signage, my wedding banner collection features hand-painted calligraphy backdrops and a range of other fabric banners. From floaty cotton seating plans, orders of the day, work-anywhere welcome signs and show-stopping 3m backdrops, each banner is originally crafted and lettered by hand just for you.
And for all those keen to learn modern calligraphy themselves, I run regular Introduction to Modern Calligraphy and Brush Lettering workshops throughout Scotland. Bring your mum, your bridesmaids or even your fiance for a fun afternoon of calligraphy tuition, where you’ll learn the basics of the art and get a professional modern calligraphy kit to keep.
