ARTISTIC WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FOR LONDON LOVERS
Ela Tatiana, otherwise known as E.T. Photography, has a low-fuss approach with high-end results. Her creative, artistic wedding photography style perfectly captures the emotion and the aesthetic, leaving you with treasured memories of not only the style but the substance, too. We’re delighted to welcome her onto the blog, and thought we’d do some quick-fire questions to get to know her:
WHO ARE YOU + WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
I am a photographer based in London
DESCRIBE YOUR WORKPLACE.
My work place? I guess is everywhere where my couples are.
HOW DID IT ALL BEGIN?
My photography journey started on the street by taking photos of strangers and creating stories. Somewhat later my friend asked me to assist her with photographing a wedding and that’s where everything changed! I’ve realised that whilst shooting street photography, I was missing being able to delve deep into the stories of my subject – all the emotions from laugh to tears in one place. It transpired that, I’ve found my true mission!
WHO/WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Inspiration comes to me from a variety of sources. Even when I put my camera down, I’m still photographing with my eyes! I notice fascinating frames everywhere I go and take numerous mental snapshots of anything that catches my eye. People, light, movement, shadows, moments, unusual things
DESCRIBE YOUR TYPICAL DAY.
The most interesting part of this job is that there is no ‘typical’ day. One day I would be busy scheduling meetings, answering emails and the other day I would be traveling and shooting. Maybe the next day I would be busy editing straight for 12 hours.
WHERE’S YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO GO?
I am a city girl. I love scrolling down London streets, watching people and admiring architecture. I am never tied of this city, always finding a new spots or just old once in deferent season/light.
FAVOURITE WEDDING VENUE?
Kew Gardens and Syon Park. Perfect lighting and surroundings. Also I am living 15 minutes walk from them so literally there are in my neighbourhood.
TRENDS YOU HOPE TO SEE THIS SEASON?
I think there would be more micro weddings. I actually like them a lot!
BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE BEEN GIVEN?
“People see you through their own perception”. And also another one “no one cares”. I use both a lot in my Instagram Stories and in general.
