Edinburgh bridal shop Rachel Scott Couture don’t just have their continuous stock available; they also feature a number of exclusive trunk shows per year, too.
Trunk shows are special, limited-time events where a designer brings an extensive collection to a venue that usually doesn’t carry it. This may be their whole collection, which isn’t usually available altogether outside of their atelier, or it may be a curation of their favourite pieces that are being viewed somewhere new for the first time. If you’re wondering where the name comes from, it’s from the idea that originally, designers would be showing them from a suitcase – but nowadays, they’re much slicker.
Within these trunk shows, you can book full private consultations, to ensure you have undivided time with the collection in question.

Temperley ‘Blossom’ Collection – Friday 4th March until Monday 7th March
Not only are Rachel Scott the only Edinburgh bridal stockists of Temperley, they’re the only Scottish stockists of Temperley. To celebrate this, they’ll be showcasing lots of brand new pieces from the ‘Blossom’ collection.
“Flow of fabric movement, accuracy in detail placement and effortless chic understated (but-oh-so-there) glamour remain central to all she does but this season there’s an exciting new exploration of tailored lines, playful shorter lengths and a sleekness of style.” Rachel explains.

Sassi Holford ‘Love Conquers All’ – 17th to 21st March 2022
Rachel explains what we can expect from Sassi’s signature styling: “Soft textures and sculptured forms – the perfect balance of light playful frivolity and muted, sophisticated elegance. Sassi really knows how to make a bride feel confident, special and entirely her own individual person.”

Vivienne Westwood New Collection Launch – 15th to 25th April 2022
This Vivienne Westwood event is an exclusive for Scotland, and the first time the new 2o22 collection (which you can see more of here) will be venturing outside of London within mainland UK. By way of a suitably indulgent celebration, Rachel Scott will be hosting the entire bridal collection in store for a full 10 days. Plus, they’ll have some much-loved, iconic Vivienne Westwood styles to try too.
