Every year, we think of it as our duty on this here earth to bring you the best, hand-curated collection of modern wedding suppliers, and the incredible, design-led wedding inspiration that they create. This year was no exception, so we thought we’d look back fondly by collating our most popular pots of 2019!
The Little White Cow turned the already-gorgeous Forgans into an even-more-gorgeous industrial paradise for Sarah and Bryan, with greenery and neon and all that is good and holy in the wedding styling world. St Andrews, but make it Bali or Mykonos. Look at the tiki bar too!
Becky and Scott’s wedding at BaAD Glasgow was a masterclass in how colourful weddings can be super stylish too. The wonderful McGlynn Sisters were on hand to photograph it, with Susan from Celebrate People conducting their ceremony and Bygone Booth providing their evening photobooth fun.
Mint green bridesmaids from The Curries
The Curries wowed us with this beaut laidback bridal party style, with Harriet’s Zimmerman dress and Ghost fashion bridesmaids dresses.
A killer combo of Lemonbox Studios and Myrtle & Bracken made this wedding the stylish dream that it was; Bauhaus inspiration brought Arden and Steven’s vision of joining Tel Aviv and Glasgow to life. Their draped reception at West On The Green was one of our standout styling moments of the year.
Before their bigger wedding in France, Lorene and Alex wanted an intimate London ceremony and celebration, which the lovely Joanna Brown shot for them. Oozing style and sophistication from every pore, she wore a puff-sleeved McQueen dress and a beaded Shrimps bag – essentially, the coolest bride going bar none.
Wonderful + Strange blew us all away with this gorgeous, emotional castle wedding. Chelsea and Erin invited 100 of their nearest and dearest to see them get married at the magical Drumtochty Castle – they entered their ceremony to a Ludacris banger, both dressed in Rue De Seine deliciousness.
Laidback autumnal wedding from Claire Fleck, Kitchen East & Tupelo Tree
If there’s one thing the internet loves more than bridesmaids goals, it’s bridesmaids goals from the best Scottish wedding suppliers around. Claire Fleck photographed the gorgeous Poppy and John’s wedding at Lauriston Hall in Edinburgh, which was transformed into an autumnal feasting area by Tupelo Tree‘s mossy greenery and Kitchen East‘s delicious bespoke seasonal menu.
Rainy portraits session at Eilean Donan Castle
Colin Ross nabbed our top title on instagram this year with this gorgeous rainy shot outside Eilean Donan castle. Just after Joel and Brittany’s ceremony, the sun came out so they raced to the bridge; just as they got there the rain started again, with the sun was still shining behind the castle. Brittany was so excited because there was a rainbow and they gave up caring about getting soaked – and thank god, because this photo is pure magic.
Thanks so much for an incredible 2019, and here’s to an amazing 2020!
