real wedding –  Relaxed, modern Edinburgh barn wedding

11 November 2019

This is not just a barn wedding. This is a W and S barn wedding. (Did you read it in the voice?)

Natasha and Chris’ wedding day at Kirknewton Stables was the perfect example of how you can plan a stylish, modern wedding with lovely, laidback feel. Kirknewton is a family-run stable set in the grounds of a country house, meaning there’s not only a beautiful, blank canvas events space, but plenty of rolling greenery too.

Natasha wore the Billie dress from Unbridaled, with a high neck and ruffled back detail for clean lines and a sleek silhouette. Her statement earrings and lace-trimmed veil above her slicked-back ponytail took a timeless look smack bang into the present day. They got married in front of neon from Love Inc. and used our pals at The Little White Cow for the gorgeous peacock chairs for their meal, which was created with love by the team at The Pantry.

The stables served as the venue for all 3 stages of the day, with the ceremony, reception and party all in there under the twinkling fairy lights and floral installation by the couple’s (very talented) friend. Natasha also carried a lush bouquet made of sage green foliage and white blooms for a super chic, super relaxed finish.

We love this beaut of a wedding, and thanks as always to David and Martyna at Wonderful + Strange for taking such delicious captures! You can feel the warmth and love oozing through these stellar shots – and the party vibes too. All the bests!
