An elopement in Edinburgh has so many plus points – its historic buildings and contemporary feeling means you’ll have an elegant and adventurous elopement all at the same time. Gijs and Jente travelled from the Netherlands for their Scottish elopement, with the help of Scarlett & Bell in coordinating.
If they wanted a sense of adventure for their wedding, they totally got it: in a country famous for its rain and wind, Jente and Gils ended up lucking out with one of the hottest days of the year! The lovely Carole-Ann from Harper Scott documented them from the start of the day with a casual coffee shop breakfast, through to the ceremony in the impressive Royal College of Physicians, and then onto the streets of Edinburgh and beyond. After capturing some stunning images in pockets of brilliant light in the city centre, she took them up to Arthur’s Seat. “We climbed Arthur’s Seat to gain some elevation and enjoy the beautiful views of the city – as well as catch a much needed breeze. Suffice to say, we all had a wonderful day!”
