Why hello, laidback, bohemian, open-to-the-elements wedding of dreams!
Lisa and Chris got married in April in the ultimate wedding venue for lovers of nature: the super romantic purpose-built studio that is Crear. We all know it for its stunning beauty and yet, it surprises us and takes our breath away every. single. time. Especially when Wonderful & Strange are behind the camera – it looks mighty fine.
“Crear weddings never seem to need much of a theme because of the setting itself,” David and Martyna explain, “but Lisa and Chris’ was uber cool minimalist with a bit of boho style thrown in.”
Lisa wore a Daughters of Simone gown with a floral crown and deep pink-toned heels for the ceremony – which she immediately swapped for high top Converse afterwards. “Our fave part of the wedding was when Lisa quickly put on a pair of Converse straight after the ceremony, chucked us and her new husband into someone’s Landrover Defender and drove us all down the bumpy track to the beach for a bit of adventure. Such a fun moment – that and the absolute dream that is Crear in general.”
Crear was the perfect space for them, with family coming from all over the country. “Lisa is Northern Irish and Chris is from London (or somewhere near there…) so having their friends and family travel by land and sea to this remote place on the west coast of Scotland made for a really special atmosphere. It also made for one proper crazy dancefloor.”
