In the immortal words of Hugh Grant in everyone’s favourite noughties romcom, love actually is all around. Inspiration can come from wherever and whatever, and if it sparks something in you it’s worth thinking about. No-one shows this better than the total power couple of wedding styling, Joanna Brown Photography and Rachel Grimes Flowers, who have knocked it out of the park with this rugged but delicate coastal shoot. We’re talking inspired and hella inspiring here, team.
The dream team have mutual shared passions of flowers, fashion and photography, and so they wanted to create a stunning shoot that would give them both the chance to play and experiment outside of a brief. Once they’d chosen a gorgeous bit of the Southern coast for the location, they set about working with the season, the light, and the weather – harnessing its natural beauty rather than trying to rally against it – as the starting point for the windy and wild-hearted styling. The glorious flowers in gorgeous purples and oranges decided the colour palette, as their organic-yet-architectural arrangement echoed the course of the day. “We both love this way of working and being playful and lighthearted and really working as a team as the day unfolds. We worked right until we lost the light!”
