And charmed we are indeed. This scrumptious styled shoot from Lauren McGlynn was shot in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, showcasing all of its historic and romantic charm. Lauren was attracted to the beautiful Riddle’s Court, the venue for the shoot, for its gorgeous detailing and natural light. It looks almost literary, and we LOVE it.

Situated just off the Royal Mile, it’s like stepping into another world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The venue has so many unique features, from the restored original painted celling in the Geddes Room to the gorgeous Honeymoon Suite – full of heady, vintage-style curios without being too twee. The shoot features a host of über talented Edinburgh vendors (and hella TWC babes, hollerrrrr) who helped create a classic Scottish vibe with some light, modern twists.

Rowanjoy Bridal‘s vintage-inspired wedding dresses were an obvious choice for gowns, as her beautiful selection revealed some open-backed stunners – the dreamy, swishy full-skirted flow is a beautiful contrast to the harsh cobbled streets of the city, and the gold embroidery detailing highlighted the decadent detailing (alliteration ahoy!) of the venue. This opulent feel was amplified by getting the powerhouse that is Hedgerow on board for the florals, as everything Rachael creates looks like it’s just come straight out of a still-life painting.  The cream-and-gold bouquet was full of fluffy flowers and foliage, amplified by the stunning larger-than-life altarpiece she created for the ceremony room.

Megababes AMM Hair and Make Up created beautiful looks on the models, with subtle smoky eyes and gorgeous glowing skin which practically shone when bathed in the light from Riddle’s Court’s beautiful windows. One bride wore a ponytail to add a modern edge to the look and let us tell you now, we want to spearhead a campaign to make bridal ponytails more of a thing, because they look TOP. #justiceforthebridalponytail

The Victoriana-esque stationery is the Gin collection from Paper Arrow Press, a collection is full of clean lines and simple geometric shapes, inspired by labels on gin bottles (aren’t we all?). Traditional lettering juxtaposed with a minimalist black-and-white colour palette makes for a stunning stationery collection, as it turns out.

Patience Jewellery’s luxe classic styles and Liggy’s intricate blush cake finished off the shoot wonderfully, organised by Mercedes of Scarlet & Bell.
