Today we’re swooning over woodland wondering with these two lovebirds, as captured by the amazing Wonderful and Strange. It was definitely all sorts of wonderful…

In true Des’ree style, ooooh this wedding gives me shivers. We are loving Stephanie and Angela’s big day from start to finish, from pink lampshades and And Five Were Foolish to beading and trainers as the last women standing. A cosy and twinkly ceremony at Comrie Croft was followed by a gorgeous barnhouse reception full of festive foliage and strings of blinking fairy lights, Polaroid pictures and tables named after Game Of Thrones houses (Team Stark all the way.)

With gorgeous sylvan bouquets made of earthy greens and whites, the celebration was always going to be a very relaxed and rustic chic (twee can take a hiiiike.) With that in mind, let’s just take a hot sec to talk about that woodland shoot, shall we? I think we shall. In between the ceremony and the reception, Stephanie + Angela absconded to the forest, to take the most incredible couple shots we’ve ever laid eyes upon. Surrounded by foliage and crunchy leaves and tall trees, atop logs and fallen trunks and wrapped in soft vintage-style furs, the brides got to work. We can feel the slight chill in the air but the abundant warmth in their hearts through the screen! They tell the story better than words ever can – so take it away, Wonderful and Strange…
