REAL WEDDING –  urban warehouse wedding with the curries

6 December 2017

We will literally never get over warehouse weddings, but this one will be an incredible one to beat. Cheryl + Ben’s day featured so much love, and a whole host of incredible wedding pals who made this urban celebration an absolute dream.

This wedding is so special for SO many reasons. The lighting, the foliage, the sequins, the drapes – hell yes. That’s before we even talk about Cheryl and Ben themselves (best looking couple ever, right?), wee Ozzy their ringbearer, and the sheer outpouring of love.

I love Letters smashed the decor brief, with neon hearts and lighting pillars for the most glamorous closing shots we’ve ever had the fortune of taking. Cheryl emerged from soft blush drapes into a bohemian-styled carpeted ceremony area, and guests segued from dark wood chairs to prepped cocktail glasses. Metallic banners instructed guests to pick their poison (ok, only if you insist) and the floor was strewn with post-party confetti. Sparrow + Rose’s incredible florals injected natural beauty into the open space, with massive garlands made of foliage strung along the walls and suspended from the ceiling.

They ooooozed old school glamour with rolling waves, a strong red lip, a sharp three piece suit and a cigar station for guests. And the sequins. 3 Yesses to the high-low sequin wedding dress, especially in that stunning light!

Our mates Bespoke Catering also played a part in this beaut day, serving up the feast for the guests, and our very own Sheila held their independent humanist ceremony in front of flickering candles and all of their nearest and dearest.

We don’t even need to tell you about how much fun it was or how in love they are, because it’s so obvious from their photos. Bask in their beauty – this really was a wedding for the books…
